Class of 2026 Senior Retreat
The CHS Senior Class of 2026 traveled to four different sites across Louisiana on October 12-13th for their senior retreat. Led by faculty, Brothers, alumni, parents, and priests, they spent time in reflection, fellowship, and building their brotherly bond.
Campus Minister, Scott Losavio '95, said "These two days were blessed with perfect weather, lively fellowship, and deep sharing. All returned hopeful that the bonds formed on retreat will propel them to a greater appreciation of one another and of CHS throughout the rest of the year".
Advancement Associate and Senior Parent, Jamie Segar '90, said "It was a very powerful experience full of reflection and growth, and having a senior made it all the more special".
Senior, Matt Maher, said "The retreat was phenomenal. I got the chance to connect with fellow classmates and rekindle relationships that I hadn’t been very active in. It was a great way for me to take a break from my busy schedule and focus on me and who I am as well as who God wants me to be. I had an amazing time and truly felt like I grew closer God and my school".
Many senior students expressed how nice it was to unplug with their brothers. They said that two days without their phones to just be with each other, reflect, grow in prayer, and build their bonds with each other was an experience they're thankful to have had.
