Seven CHS Students Attain Eagle Scout Status During 2022-2023 School Year

The CHS Family would like to congratulate students (from left) Peyton Trigo ’25, Brennan Normand ’25, Nicholas Kolb ’24, Will Busenlener ’24, Brady Eldredge ’25, Shawn Vogt ’24, and Griffin Gautreau ’23 for recently attaining Eagle Scout status.

The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest honor for a young man. In order to be considered, he must earn a minimum of twenty-one merit badges and complete three courses in citizenship, communication, cooking, personal fitness, emergency preparedness or lifesaving, personal management, and camping - among other requirements. He must also be an active member of his troop, demonstrate responsibility, and provide leadership in an approved service project.

Since its inception in 1911, only four percent of Scouts have earned this rank after a lengthy review process.

Way to go, gentlemen!
