CHS Students Participate in Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Community Workday

On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we take time to acknowledge the lasting impact Dr. King had (and continues to have) on our society. On Monday, January 16, nearly 35 of our students took things a step further by volunteering at the River Road African American Museum. Our Bears assisted with different outdoor tasks, including raking the grounds, garden maintenance, and landscaping, while others helped replace a fence. We are proud of these young men for their hard work in their efforts to be good stewards of the CHS mission while also honoring Dr. King’s legacy of compassion. Bravo, gentlemen!
