CHS Student Council Shines at State Conference; Faculty Advisor Inducted into LASC Hall of Fame

The members of the CHS Student Council recently traveled to West Monroe for the 2023 Louisiana Association of Student Councils (LASC) State Convention. Students had a great time networking with their peers from across the state while also strengthening their leadership skills. They spent time campaigning for classmates Sean Valluzzo ’25 and Charlie Lanehart ’25 who ran for state/district offices - Sean was elected as Louisiana State President and Charlie Lanehart was elected as District Three President.

In addition to this tremendous accomplishment, our young men walked away with the Double Golden Council of Excellence Award.

Each year one advisor is honored with the highest recognition that can be bestowed upon a student council advisor: being inducted into the LASC Hall of Fame. This year, Catholic High School's very own Fiona Conroy was named an inductee! We are so proud of Ms. Conroy and are thankful for her tireless dedication to the CHS student council for the past 20+ years.

Congratulations to all!
