Last weekend 14 student council members traveled to Northwood High School in Shreveport, Louisiana for the annual Louisiana Association of Student Councils Convention. Junior Sean Valluzzo, representing CHS as State President, conducted the conference ceremonies along with Charlie Lanehart, District President.
As for activities, Junior Ben Bailey won 1st place in the Senior High essay contest. Sean Valluzzo won the Dale D. Hawley Leadership Award. General members enjoyed workshops with other schools, officer presentations, keynote speakers, and the annual kickoff dance. CHS STUCO "loves to be at LASC"
