The 2025 Bruin staff attended the Louisiana Scholastic Press Association’s high school conference and competition on Tuesday, January 28th to learn about the process of creating publications. They attended breakout sessions presenting a variety of media applications with other Louisiana schools.  The day’s highlight was a private tour of the LSU Athletic department’s photo studio and sports information office.  The Bruin staff enjoyed posing with props and took pictures against the studio backdrops.  A tour bonus was a bird’s eye view of Tiger Stadium.  Seniors Aidan Albin, Aidan Calkins, Hudson Caraccioli, Lee Dirks, Tristan Holden, Grant Mathes, Patrick Moe, Logan Nguyen, Sam Norman, Rylan Parker, Logan Wong, and William Zaunbrecher; and moderators Mr. Kemp, Mrs. M. Smith, and Mr. Messina were present for the event.

Awarded an Honorable Mention for Coverage for the “Summer Trips” layout for the 2024 yearbook Ursa Major was 2024 Bruin staff member Zidane Tran ’26.
