Bears Show Support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As Breast Cancer Awareness Month draws to a close, we wanted to acknowledge our students and their families for their month of support. Every year, we aim to raise awareness about the risk of breast cancer in men. Our campus bookstore, The Bruin Shop, sells pink wristbands and Bears Fight Cancer t-shirts in order to raise funds to donate to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center - this year, we will donate about $2,000 to the hospital. The students had a chance to show additional support at a “pink-out” football game against East Ascension on Friday, October 8.

Thank you to all our Bears and their families for helping us raise awareness about this very serious illness.
