Alumni Lacrosse team members returned to campus this weekend for a showdown against the current Varsity team. The Alumni got off to an early lead, winning the first face-off and getting the first goal of the game on a busted clear due to their tenacious ride.

After an even match through the first half, the Varsity Bears turned up the heat in the 3rd quarter taking a 9-4 lead heading into the 4^th quarter.

In a valiant effort to secure a win, the Alumni threatened a comeback, scoring 4 unanswered goals to make the score 9-8. The Varsity Bears shut them down, scoring their 10th goal of the game. 

The Alumni scored goal #9 to bring it within 1 again, but with under 2 minutes to play the Varsity won a clutch face-off, got an amazing save and scored goal #11 to finish the game with a final score of 11-9.
