Soccer loses heartbreaker to Dutchtown in OT, season ends in Quarterfinal

The CHS Soccer team's season came to an end on Tuesday night, as CHS fell to the Dutchtown Griffins by a score of 1-0 in Overtime.

The Bears once again largely controlled the game, but struggled to get shots on target against a stout defense by the Griffins.

The breakthrough goal came in the first half of the first OT period when Dutchtown converted a well taken corner kick to beat Senior GK Rhett DeBlieux.

The 2023 senior class will go down as one of a most successful classes in CHS history... The nine senior on the team were three-time district champions, two-time state champions, and claimed a state runner-up.
