The Catholic High soccer team went on the road Wednesday night and defeated Southside 2-0 in a second round playoff matchup.

After a scoreless first half, junior Max Chamberlain was finally able to break through in the 60th minute off a corner kick to give the Bears the lead. Junior Mac Couhig sealed the win with a goal of his own in the 79th minute. 

The win advanced CHS to the quarterfinal round where they will host Baton Rouge High. That match will take place on Monday, February 12 at Dale Weiner Field. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m.
