This past Saturday, the Catholic High Powerlifting team won the 2024 East Regional Meet after placing six different athletes in the top three of their weight class. 

Juniors Anderson Le (123 lbs.), Aidan Calkins (165 lbs.), and Reginald Anderson (242 lbs.) all earned first place finishes in their divisions. Calkins was also named the Outstanding Lifter for the 114-165 lb. weight classes.

Other top three finishers included: 

Matthew Sanders- 2nd place (114 lbs.)

Hayes Turner- 3rd place (181 lbs.)

Jacob Russell- 3rd place (275 lbs.)

The team will now prepare for the state championship meet held on March 23 at the Cajundome.
