Late Comeback Lifts CurDog Football to 1-0 Start

Despite an unrelenting rainstorm, Catholic High football rallied late and scored the go-ahead touchdown with 18 seconds remaining to notch a season-opening victory over perennial 5A power Destrehan. The victory ended the Wildcats' 33-game home winning streak.

The Bears were led by sophomore tailback Jayden Miles who finished with 25 carries for 129 yards and two touchdowns.
