Five members of the defending state champion CHS Lacrosse team have been picked by coaches across the Louisiana High School Lacrosse League as either first or second team members of the LHSLL All-State team.

The CHS players recognized ahead of this season are:

FIRST TEAM:

• Senior Nathan Schlegel (Midfielder)
• Senior Hudson Brown (Defender)
• Senior Jamie Delahoussaye (Faceoff Specialist)

SECOND TEAM:

• Senior Grant Schliewe (Attacker)
• Junior David Carroll (Long Stick Midfielder)

The announcement comes on the heels of the LHSLL announcing that Dale Weiner Field/Couhig Family Athletic Complex will be the host site for the Division I Final Four, Division I State Championship, Division II State Championship, and the final round of the LHSLL Freshman Final Four.

The Lacrosse Bears open their season with road trips to Houston, TX to play Episcopal High School on February 18, and then head over to Birmingham, AL on February 24 and 25 for games against Briarwood High School and Spain Park High School.

The Bears' first home game in the newly constructed Couhig Family Athletic Complex will be on March 10 when they host the Jesuit Blue Jays.
