The Catholic High Cross Country team placed four runners in the top 10 on their way to capturing the Region II Championship Meet this past Friday at Highland Road Park.
The Big Orange Wave held off second-place Dutchtown by just three points in a thrilling race. CHS was led by Jonathan Thompson's fifth-place finish. Patrick Kelly (7th), Peter Watson (8th), and William DeCuir (9th) also contributed to the big win.

Next up for the Big Orange Wave is the LHSAA State Championship Meet held in Natchitoches on Monday, November 18.
