On Saturday, the Catholic High soccer team clinched the district championship with a 1-0 victory over Baton Rouge High.
Senior Mac Couhig's early goal in the 6th minute proved enough for the Bears. Goalkeeper Santi Occupati led the CHS defense with four saves. The win improved the Bears' record to 12-3-3 on the season as the team awaits playoff seeding next week.
