CHS Soccer Remains Unbeaten

Tuesday night, the Catholic High soccer team faced off against Woodlawn in a matchup of two undefeated teams to open district play. The match remained close through the first half, but a barrage of goals in the second half opened up the game and propelled the Bears to a convincing 8-0 victory over the Panthers.

The win improved the Bears' record to 15-0-0. Across all four LHSAA soccer divisions, CHS remains the only team in the state without a tie or a loss on the season. The Bears currently hold a unanimous #1 ranking in the Coaches' Poll and LHSAA power rankings.

The Bears are back on the pitch tomorrow as they take on Episcopal at Dale Weiner Field. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. Then, on Saturday, CHS faces their toughest test of the season as they travel to New Orleans to take on #2-ranked Jesuit at 3:00 p.m.
