Catholic High School will play host to some of the best high school lacrosse teams in the state in May when the Louisiana High School Lacrosse League (LHSLL) championship weekend comes to the Couhig Family Athletic Complex.
The new facility was chosen as the host site of the 2023 championships for both Division II and Division I, as well as the Division I semifinals and Freshman Final Four.
The Bears are the current reigning state champions of Division I after downing Jesuit last May.
The Division I Final Four will be held on Friday, May 5.
The Division II State Championship and the Freshman Final Four will be held on Saturday, May 6.
And the Division I State Championship will take place on Sunday, May 7.
Game times will be announced at a later date.
