On Wednesday, January 11, Catholic High School honored all of the students who played on a varsity athletics team during the fall sports period. Among the honorees were members of the Football, Cross Country and Swimming teams.

The 2022 CHS Cross Country team won both the Metro and Class 5A Region II titles before finishing 4th at the State Cross Country meet.
David Lemann was honored with the 2022 Outstanding Runner Award.
Cooper Mockler received the 2022 Coach's Award
George Scully won the 2022 Orange Wave Award.

The CHS Swim team continued to dominate the sport in the Baton Rouge area, claiming a 30th consecutive City Meet title. The Bears went on to the State Meet where they fell just short of a team title finishing a close Runner-Up for the second consecutive year.

The CHS Football team ended the season on top of District 4-5A, an undefeated district schedule, an 11-2 overall record, and made a strong post-season push, making it to the semifinals of the Division I Playoffs for the sixth consecutive season.
Landon Carter won the 2022 Special Teams Award
Harold Lawson was honored with the 2022 Golden Grizzly Award (given annually in honor of Steven Deumite).
Judd Rouyea was presented with the 2022 Gayle Hatch '57 Strength Athlete Award
