CHS Golfers Complete Successful Regular Season

The Catholic High golf team wrapped up their 2024 regular season over the Easter Break and now look forward to the postseason. The Bears finished 15-0 in Baton Rouge Metro golf, their 4th consecutive undefeated Metro regular season in a row. Postseason play begins Tuesday, April 9 as the CHS golfers compete for the Metro Championship at Santa Maria golf course.

The Bears closed the regular season with a 30-4 record, which included a runner-up finish in the Southern Select High School Invitational and a first place finish in the 1864 Match Play Invitational in Fairhope, Alabama.

"I couldn't be prouder of our young men for how they've progressed as the season has gone on. They take one day and one hole at a time and they are continuing to refine their game to be prepared for the postseason challenges that lie ahead," said head coach Christopher Davis.

After the Metro Tournament, the Bears begin LHSAA postseason play with the district championship, hosted by the Bears on Monday, April 15th at Webb Park.
