The CHS Golf season is off to a hot start as the Bears traveled to Houston over the holiday weekend to compete in the Verne Edwards Memorial tournament.
The Bears were 11 shots better than Woodlands High School to claim the team title.
Senior Carter Schmitt placed 2nd individually with scores of 70 and 74 for a score of even par.
The Bears team scores were a 295 and a 303 for a team total of 598.
