CHS Football Prepares for Annual Spring Game

This Friday, the CHS Football team will compete in their annual Spring Game to conclude this portion of their offseason preparation. First-year Head Coach Hudson Fuller said the game is an important measuring tool for the players.

“We’re looking for who can play at the Varsity level,” Coach Fuller said. “It’s important that we are laying a good foundation and that the players are beginning to grasp the systems that we’ve put in place.”

The format of the game will be four cycles 18 plays. The first-team offense will compete against the first-team defense for eight plays. They will be followed by both second-team and third-team units competing for six plays and four plays respectively.

Coach Fuller is excited to see the results of the work that has taken place since his return to CHS earlier this year.

“The football you’re going to see is rooted in the principles and traditions of Catholic High School,” said Coach Fuller.

The CHS Football Spring Game will kickoff at 5 p.m. and is free to the public.
