Another spectacular CHS football season came to a close last Friday night in Algiers as the Bears fell to No.1-ranked Karr in the Division I Select Semifinals.

The Bears took a 12-7 lead into halftime after Turner Goldsmith found Amari Clayton for an 8-yard touchdown in the first half's closing seconds. Karr came out firing in the second half scoring twice and taking a 21-12 lead into the fourth quarter. CHS fought back with a 13-play drive capped by a Cohen LeBlanc touchdown cutting the lead to 21-19. The Bears had one final chance in the final minutes that fell short.

CHS finished the season 10-2, including a second consecutive District 4-5A championship.
