This past weekend, two members of the Catholic High Fishing team participated in the 2024 Bassmaster High School Combine held in Decatur, Alabama. The event gives high school anglers the ability to meet directly with college coaches and further enhance their skills.
Seniors Max Himmel and Brayden Morgan both attended the combine and performed well. Morgan finished 2nd in Casting Accuracy while Himmel placed 1st in the Bonus Challenge. Himmel also announced that he has committed to Dallas Baptist University to fish at the collegiate level.
