"Max has been a major influence in the CHS soccer program over the last four years," Head Coach J.B. Brunet said. "His contributions on the field and in the classroom have been incredible. On behalf of the coaching staff and his teammates, we congratulate Max on this fantastic award."

This season, Cavana scored 14 goals and assisted on two goals from his defensive midfield position, while helping lead a defense that allowed just nine goals all season.
