Bears Run Past Central

On Friday night at Memorial Stadium, the Catholic High football team used a strong rushing attack to take down Central 35-17 and remain undefeated in district play.

The Bears outgained the Wildcats 413-214 led by senior running back Rylan Parker's 106 yards on 16 carries. Quarterback Baylor Graves also contributed to the offense's balanced effort completing 21 passes for over 200 yards and two scores. Defensively, the Black Hat defense held Central's potent running game to under 100 yards.

Catholic (5-1, 2-0) will travel to Scotlandville next week.
