Bowling returns from Mardi Gras break to dominate previously unbeaten Slidell

The CHS Bowling team knocked off one of the five remaining unbeaten teams in Louisiana on Monday afternoon.

The Bears took down the Slidell Tigers at Tangi Lanes and won by a score of 23-4.

CHS got off to a hot start, taking a 6-2 and 134 pin lead after the first game. The final two games were closer, but the Bears won 5 of 6 individual matches in each game.

The Bears begin District play on Thursday as they face the McKinley Panthers at All-Star Lanes at 3:20 p.m.
