The Bowling Bears are 9-2 overall and 2-0 in district play after a pair of wins this week over Woodlawn and Baton Rouge High.
On Monday the Bears defeated Woodlawn in a tough match by a final score of 19-8 behind big scores from Mark Mills (239), Owen Songne (220), Carter Mashon (212) and Blaize Karisny (203).
The team followed that victory up with a dominant 27-0 win over Baton Rouge High on Wednesday, Mills (246, 237) and Songe (223) again led the way for the Bears as they got to 2-0 in district play.
The Bears wrap up their 2023 district and regular season schedule on Thursday afternoon against the McKinley Panthers at All-Star Lanes, the action gets rolling at 3:25 p.m.
