To celebrate the beginning of a new season, the Catholic High basketball team hosted their first annual Tip-Off Dinner and "Blessing of the Boys" on Monday night in the Student Center.
Walk-On's founder and CHS alumnus Brandon Landry was the keynote speaker of the evening. Those in attendance also heard from head coach Derrick Jones and members of the 2023-2024 varsity team.
The event was a great success thanks to the hard work of parents and friends of the program. All proceeds from the night will go directly to the CHS basketball program.
The reigning Division I state champions begin their season on Monday, November 13 as the Bears host Crescent City.
