The outdoor track and field team won the 5A state title Saturday night for the second year in a row! The scored a total of 68 points to oust second place Edna Karr with 57. Multiple athletes had first place finishes and other PRs were set.
Paul Catalanatto captured the state title in the Javelin with a 61.5 m throw.
The 4x400 meter relay made up of Louis Rudge '23, Cameron Brazell '24, Henry Mensman '26 and Winston DeCuir '23 finished first with a time of 3:15.38.
The 4x800 meter relay also finished first. Cooper Mockler '23, David Lemann '24, Matthew Maynard '24 and Henry Henry Mensman '26.
