October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month! Over the summer, six CHS students attended Cyber Discovery Camp-- a week-long competition to explore issues related to cyber security. The Bears explored social and ethical issues, hands-on engineering problems, cryptography, and computer science labs. These activities promoted teamwork and leadership, and further helped to develop problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills. Catholic High earned 2nd place in the competition!
Thomas Cagle, Gordon Crawford, Evan Dayries, William de Souza, Caleb Lott, and Jackson Whitlow represented CHS at the camp. They were led by Mr. Tim Chustz and Mrs. Sheri Schoonmaker.
