CHS Celebrates Senior Send-Off Mass for the Class of 2023

The Catholic High School community celebrated the senior class’ last liturgy on campus on Wednesday, May 3rd.

The gentlemen of the CHS choir provided the music for the Mass alongside Luke Losavio '23 on the piano and Cole Mogharrebi '24 on the violin.

Fr. Michael Alello ’98 served as celebrant. In his homily, Fr. Michael encouraged the senior class to remember what Catholic High School has given them over the years-- not just the knowledge but the community and the people that support them and the lessons they've learned through making mistakes. He encouraged them to go out into the world and be 1% better each day.

We were honored to have seven Brothers of the Sacred Heart in attendance. Their presence was a welcome reminder of the true mission of Catholic High School. We also had a large group of parents of the senior class in attendance to celebrate their final liturgy on campus.

As part of Senior dress-up week tradition, Wednesday’s theme was “Dress Like A Brother.” Several seniors honored the Brothers of the Sacred Heart by dressing in the traditional black slacks, white button-down shirt, and tie.
