In order to best prepare our seniors for their lives after high school, we host a series of sessions surrounding issues that are relevant to the experiences they are faced with as teenagers. Past sessions have provided our seniors with opportunities to prepare for the ACT, work on college applications with our college counselors, and focus on mental wellness. Our most recent session featured a more sobering discussion - led by Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore’s Office - on the issue of consent. CHS faculty members Matt Bruce '01 and Anna Leinweber were also on hand to offer valuable insights on ways to approach the issue.

We appreciate Ms. Leinweber, Coach Bruce, Mr. Moore, and the members of his team for visiting with our students each year to share the legal, social, and lifelong impacts associated with this very serious topic.
