Catholic High Mu Alpha Theta Hosts Largest Math Tournament in Louisiana History

On Saturday January 31, Catholic High Mu Alpha Theta hosted the largest math tournament in Louisiana history with 38 schools and 837 students competing.  CHS seniors and several alums from the class of 2023 organized and ran the tournament, which included individual tests, team tests, Ciphering, Math Bowl, and an Interschool event.

 

Students placing in individual events:

9th place - Owen Speer

 

10th place - John Hart

9th place - Miles Giacone
