CHS Football Season Ends In Semifinal Loss at Karr

The Catholic High football team's season came to an end this past Friday night as the Bears lost a hard-fought battle to #1-seeded Edna Karr in the Division I Semifinals 17-10.

In the first half, CHS opened the scoring with a Tanner Forbes field goal. After a long Karr touchdown pass, the Bears retook the lead on a 36-yard Baylor Graves scoring run. The Cougars would score the next 10 points to take a 17-10 lead into the halftime break. Neither team could score any points in the second half, and Karr, the #8-ranked team in the country according to MaxPreps, punched their ticket to the state championship game for the second consecutive year.
