CHS Football Earns Quarterfinal Win Over Alexandria
Last Friday, the Catholic High football team used a memorable second-half effort to earn a quarterfinal victory over Alexandria. Trailing 6-3 at the half, the Bears flipped the script by scoring 41 unanswered points in the final 24 minutes.
The CHS defense forced five Trojan turnovers in the contest, which included a pick six by Ian Locklar. Not to be outdone, the Bears' offense scored on five straight possessions led by Jayden Miles' three touchdown performance.
The Bears will now travel to #1-seeded Edna Karr this Friday night in a Division I Select Semifinal matchup. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Morris Jeff Stadium.
