CHS Head Wrestling Coach Tommy Prochaska ’92 was named Division 1 Class 5A Coach of the Year. He coached Catholic High to its 11th City Title in a row and a third place finish in Division 1 at the LHSAA State Wrestling Tournament.
Prochaska is an influential coach for his wrestlers both on and off the mat.
“Coach Prochaska makes wrestling a lifestyle, not just a sport. Everything he teaches us we take outside of wrestling,” said Nick Bordelon ’14.
“He is more than just a coach,” added Everett Knox ’13. “Coach Prochaska is a supporter. He is there for you whenever you need him.
Additionally, Assistant Coach Sheridan Moran was named Division I Class 5A Assistant Coach of the Year for his contributions to the CHS Wrestling Team.
