CHS French Club, Spanish Club and Key Club members participated in the Baton Rouge CROP Walk on Sunday, November 4. The CROP, Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty, Walk was established to fight hunger and poverty around the world. Students who participated walked the 1.96 mile walk from Catholic High School to Catholic Charities and back. 25 percent of proceeds raised stayed in the Baton Rouge area, 18 percent is donated to Catholic Charities and seven percent is donated to the Holy Grill. All remaining funds are given to Church World Service, an organization whose mission is to provide help to those in need throughout the world.
