Cross Country Team Takes Second Place in Bayou Boogie

This weekend, the Varisty Cross Country team finished second, and the freshman members of the Junior Varsity team ran away with honors in the opening meet of the season, the Bayou Boogie.
The varsity scored 59 points to clinch the runner-up title. The Bears were led by Joe St.Cyr, who finished third; Keith Aldrich, who finished seventh; Travis Lindsey, who finished thirteenth; Pierce Hill, who finished fifteenth; and Lawrence Elkins, who finished twenty-first.
In the JV race, the freshman Bears dominated the competition with an incredibly low 20-point score. David Toups won first place at the meet and was closely followed by teammates Ethan Lebleu, who finished third; Myles McLindon, who finished fourth; Michael Tramonte, who finished fifth; and Andre Aguillard, who finished seventh.
This weekend, the Cross Country Bears will compete in the Episcopal Invitational, which will be held at the Highland Road Park.
