Blane Clark '77
Blane Clark ’77 has a B.S. in Accounting from LSU and juris doctor from LSU Law School where he graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif (top 10%). He is a partner in the Baton Rouge office of the Kean Miller law firm, where he has worked since his graduation from law school, devoting most of his practice to representing clients that are buying or selling businesses. He is also a member of the Management Committee.
Blane has been recognized for his legal skills by being listed each year since 2006 in The Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White) in Corporate Law and in America's Leading Lawyers for Business (Chambers USA) in Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions. In addition to serving as past member of the board for Big Buddy Program, the Hospice Foundation and Myriam’s House, he is an active member of the Catholic High School Alumni Association, where he served as president in 2007-2008, and is a lifetime member of the CHS Men’s Club.
Blane and his wife Celeste, a 1978 graduate of Vandebilt Catholic in Houma, have four children – Gordon ’08, Hayden, Sarah and Emma. He and his family are members of St. Aloysius Church.
