Brother Chris Sweeney, SC '84
Brother Chris Sweeney, SC '84 is a graduate of University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and from University of San Francisco with a MA in Education. Brother Chris currently serves as vocation director and mission trip coordinator for the Brothers of the Sacred Heart.  Sweeney coordinates yearly mission trips to St. Anne’s Mission in Klagetoh, Arizona and to St. Francis High School in Malole, Zambia.

Brother Chris began his teaching career at St. John Resurrection Elementary School in Montgomery, Alabama teaching physical education to Kindergarten through 8th grades.  Sweeney served as prefect and director of residency at St. Stanislaus College in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and later as physical education teacher, strength coach and football coach for Brother Martin High School in New Orleans.  Brother Chris is also a certified USWA Strength Coach.

Brother Chris Sweeney has served as Region V Co-Chair for the National Religious Vocation Conference, as a member of the Catholic Campus Ministry Association and as a member of Spiritual Directors International.
