Brother Ivy LeBlanc, a 1963 Catholic High School graduate, is a Brother of the Sacred Heart
currently serving as treasurer of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart
New Orleans Province and executive director of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart
Foundation. Brother Ivy holds a B.S. in accounting from Louisiana State University, and M.Ed. in educational administration from Tulane University and an MPS in Theology from Loyola University.
After teaching four years in Brothers of the Sacred Heart
high schools at St. Stanislaus, McGill Institute and Brother Martin High School and serving as administrator for 14 years at Brother Martin, six years as vice-principal and eight years as principal, he was named president of Brother Martin. He served 12 years in this role followed by six years as provincial for the New Orleans Province of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart
Brother Ivy has served his community as a member of the Archdiocese of New Orleans School Board, of the B.E.S.E. Non-Public School Commission, the U.S. Federation of Brothers of the Sacred Heart
, delegate to three General Chapters of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart
in Rome, a member of the Central Reviewing Committee of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is currently a member of the Board of Governors of St. Columba’s College in St. Alban's, England.
