Giving Opportunities

The Catholic High School Annual Fund
Parents, alumni and friends are asked to partner with Catholic High through gifts to the Annual Fund, which help address two of its most significant challenges, affordability and the increasing cost of excellence. A significant part of the increasing cost of excellence is salary and benefits, which makes up 76 percent of the school's operating budget. These tax-deductible gifts also play a vital role in helping to minimize the cost of tuition increases. 

The Catholic High School Campus Fund
The Campus Fund is the new name for what has been The Second Century of Excellence. Gifts to the Campus Fund are used to fund capital improvements, which benefit both current and future generations of CHS students. Tuition alone cannot provide the funds needed for capital improvement. These tax-deductible gifts play an important part in advancing the mission of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart and Catholic High School.
 
Memorial and Honorary Gifts
Family and friends often choose to honor a loved one, whether living or deceased, through a gift in their memory to Catholic High. This is a truly special gift in that it serves a two-fold purpose by honoring someone special, and it helps to further the mission of the school.

Endowments, Scholarships and Trusts Endowments
An endowment fund is a permanent fund established for a specific purpose of which the corpus cannot be touched and the interest earned on the fund is given to its designated recipient. Starting with the 2009-2010 fiscal year, a fund is considered fully endowed when it reaches $40,000. The following endowments are presently set up at Catholic High School:

Scholarships
An endowed scholarship is a permanent fund established for which the corpus cannot be touched and the interest earned on the fund is used to provide need-based tuition assistance for students at Catholic High School.
