The Marching Band received superior ratings for its festival performances this year and earned superior ratings at the Louisiana Showcase of Marching Bands. In addition to the Christmas and Spring Concerts, the band also performed at Open House and football games. The Bruin Brass performed at basketball games. Members of the jazz and concert ensembles performed at various events and concerts during the year. The Bruinettes act as the auxiliary to the Marching Band at festivals and contests. The auxiliary creates the story behind the music through the use of color and dance. The Bruinettes received superior ratings at all festivals and contests this year and placed second in their class at Showcase.
